After plans for the challenge fell through in 2025, one of our Trackside with SaultSports partners is back and ready to give it another shot. This ambitious journey will see the team tackle four races in four days, tow nearly 2,500 kilometres, and put one determined little four-cylinder to the ultimate test. It’s a demanding schedule that will require endurance, preparation, and a whole lot of dedication, and we’ll be following along as they chase the goal that slipped away last season.

Apparently last year’s mechanical failure wasn’t enough to teach us anything…

So we’re giving it another shot.

🏁 Laird Raceway – July 30th
🏁 Delaware Speedway – July 31st
🏁 Flamboro Speedway – Aug. 1st
🏁 Sauble Speedway – Aug. 2nd

We’ve packed spare engines, spare transmissions, enough tools to rebuild the car in a parking lot, and enough zip ties to violate several engineering principles.

Our crew has one strategy…

• If it leaks, tighten it.
• If it rattles, ignore it.
• If it falls off…it was probably slowing us down anyway.

Will we make all four races?

Your guess is as good as ours.

But if you see us in a Walmart parking lot on the side of Highway 401 with the hood off, don’t stop to ask if we need help…

Just hand us a 10mm socket and keep driving. We probably already lost ours.

By Sunday we’ll either be celebrating one of the coolest weekends we’ve ever pulled off or we’ll be experts on every Princess Auto between Sault Ste. Marie and Sauble.

Either way, it’s gonna be one hell of a ride.
