St Mary’s coach Frank Medaglia told Saultsports that “Overall, it was a good game that we can learn from. Tons of shots and offensive zone pressure for us but that doesn’t always translate on the scoresheet. We found ourselves late in a closer game than we wanted, but one that kept us focused on the little things. Getting pucks deep, maintaining discipline and being strong on the puck in both ends of the ice. I thought we did a lot of really good things out there today and some things that we need to tighten up on. That will be our focus moving forward.”
