Over the October 11th and 12th weekend, the Sault College Cougars had a competitive weekend on the ice, splitting their games in Sault Ste. Marie with a 1-1 record against the visiting Concordia University of Wisconsin Falcons in Sault Ste Marie. On Friday night, the Cougars showcased their skill and teamwork, but fell to the Falcons, 5 -1. However, the following afternoon at the Northern Community Centre, they faced the Concordia University of Wisconsin Falcons for the second game of the weekend, the Cougars capitalized on key opportunities, resulting in a hard-fought win. Despite the split, the team demonstrated resilience and determination, laying a solid foundation for the rest of the season.
