On a crisp Friday evening, September 18th, the Korah Colts delivered a commanding performance at Superior Heights Field, shutting out the White Pines Wolverines 41–0 in Sault Ste. Marie High School Junior Football action. From the opening whistle, Korah controlled every phase of the game—offense, defense, and special teams—setting the tone for a statement win early in the season.

Aho Sets the Tone Early
At 8:12 of the opening quarter, Korah’s offense struck first. Finnley Aho burst through the Wolverines’ defensive line, breaking free for a 22‑yard touchdown run that electrified the Colts sideline. Aho then drilled the extra point, giving Korah a 7–0 lead and establishing momentum that never faded.

Just minutes later, at 5:16, Grade 10 quarterback Davian Clarke powered in from the one‑yard line, capping another efficient drive. Aho’s reliable leg added the conversion, extending the Colts advantage to 14–0.

Williamson Adds to the Onslaught
The second quarter opened with Korah continuing to dictate the pace. At 11:46, Connor Williamson found the end zone for the Colts’ third major of the game, pushing the lead to 21–0 after another successful Aho kick. The Wolverines struggled to contain Korah’s balanced attack, which mixed strong rushing lanes with disciplined execution.

Phillips Capitalizes on Defensive Pressure
White Pines attempted to respond, but Korah’s defense remained relentless.
