Collège Français de Longueuil (LHJAAAQ) Still No. 1 in CJHL Top 20 Rankings, Soo Thunderbirds Receive Honourable Mentioned

Retaining their hold at No. 1 in the Canadian Junior Hockey League (CJHL) Top 20 Rankings – for a third consecutive week, Collège Français de Longueuil (LHJAAAQ) continues their torrid start to the season.

Collège Français has won 15 in a row to pace play in the Quebec AAA Junior Hockey League in remaining unbeaten while boasting a LHJAAAQ-best goal differential of plus-54.

Another team yet to taste defeat in action so far on the campaign are the No. 2 Rockland Nationals (CCHL).

Rockland sports a sharp 12-0-0-0 mark in the Central Canada Hockey League, with 11 of those victories coming in regulation and the other in overtime.

Tabbed at No. 3 in the listings, which are compiled by an independent scouting service, are the Niverville Nighthawks (MJHL).

Niverville currently tops the 13-team Manitoba Junior Hockey League in winning percentage at .913, having gone 11-1-0-0 to date.

Winners of six straight contests, the Weyburn Red Wings (SJHL), are slotted in at No. 4 in the CJHL this week.

The longtime Jr. A franchise sits with a 10-2-0-0 record in the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League, where their .833-win rate is tops.

Rounding out the Top 5 are the Trenton Golden Hawks (OJHL).

Having collected six victories and picking up points in eight straight contests this month, Trenton continues to climb up the Ontario Junior Hockey League standings with a 13-2-0-2 run so far this season.
