OPPORTUNITIES
Broadcasting – We offer the opportunity to do pre-game, halftime, and post-game interviews with players and/or coaches. We also offer opportunities to do special feature pieces that we publish on social media. This may include a sit down interview with an athlete, coach, or even families of an athlete to help learn more about a player and be able to share that with our fans.
Filmmaking – Do you see yourself going into filmmaking? This doesn’t have to be sports, it can be in any field. Saultsports.com will be producing a documentary in the spring of 2023 where we offer opportunities for you to work side-by-side with us in putting together an outstanding film for teams that goes far beyond the scores and records.
Photography – One area we are looking to develop is the creation of high quality images from a game day. This is a great opportunity to compose high quality photographs from any of our game day events!
Production – Our game day production is always looking for help in the area of camera operators, producers, audio/video technicians and much more. If you have an interest in helping us “behind the camera” we are DEFINITELY interested in talking with you.
Social Media – If you enjoy creating interesting social media content this opportunity is most definitely for you. Saultsports.com utilizes all of the popular platforms to promote athletes and teams in Northern Ontario. We can give you the content and the tools to create engaging content our followers will love!
GAMEDAY TRAINING AND GETTING STARTED
Once you have decided to become a Saultsports.com intern we want to ensure we spend time with you helping you develop your skills to ensure you are successful. We do not expect you to come in and 100% know what you’re doing and how to do it…that’s why it’s called an internship! You don’t need experience, you just need enthusiasm and the ability to learn!
We find the best way to get you the training you need is to join us on game days at the events we are covering and get a first hand look at how we do what we do. We will pair you with one of our team members who will explain how and why we do what we do and prepare you to be able to do the same thing!

Q: Do I need to have experience in the area I am interested in to be a Saultsports.com intern? Absolutely not…in fact, we expect you will have little to no experience in this. That’s why we have an internship program! We just want enthusiasm and passion, everything else we can teach.
Q: Do Saultsports.com interns get paid? As we are a very small organization that depends on the generosity of our supporters we are not able to offer paid internships.
Q: Do I have to go to all the games? Absolutely not. We understand you are a student and probably play other sports or have other interests that take up your time. We can most definitely work around your schedule to create an opportunity that fits for you.
