Day two of the 2017 OCAA Curling Championships at Community First Curling Centre marked moving day at the event as teams in all three divisions looked to curl their way into playoff contention. At the end of eight draws only one team remained unbeaten: the mixed squad from Sault College was the lone unbeaten team at a record of 3-0. The Cougars remain one game up on both Fleming and Humber Colleges in mixed action setting up pivotal games in tomorrow’s last day of round robin play.
On the women’s side three teams head into the final day of draws with one loss each: Niagara College sports a 4-1 record while Fleming and Humber are equal with identical 3-1 marks. Crucial action Saturday will determine which Cinderella will dance into the playoffs.
It was a battle of attrition in men’s play where it seems anyone can be anyone in this hotly contested field. Both Humber College (5-1) and Fanshawe College (4-1) head into the last day with one loss apiece while Fleming, Confederation and Sault sport 2 loses respectively.

Round Robin action concludes late Saturday evening where only those who survive this grueling test of skill and determination will punch their ticket to the Championship Playoff round.
