St. Mary’s coach Frank Medaglia told Saultsports that “we’re very happy with the team effort we are seeing on the ice. We had a tough loss (leading most of the game) by giving up a couple of late goals, but these are those coachable moments where we can learn from our mistakes. Getting pucks in deep and being more disciplined to not take penalties at crucial moments or simply winning puck battles late in games. Dennis Morris is a good team and they have had our number, but we’re right there and that’s what we need to take out of this loss. The little things matter…and in the end, if we learn from our mistakes. Our goal is to make a nice run at OFSAA provided we work hard and play smart as a team.”

The (2-1) Knights will meet the (3-0) Orangeville District Secondary School Bears in a 9:05 a.m puck drop in Peterborough on January 11th.
