The Sabercats handed the Jr Argos a 42 – 8 loss to finish the season with a 4 – 2 record.
Junior Sabercat coach Steve Nott told Saultsports that “we need to get off to a quick start. Both of our losses this season have been a result of slow starts due to simple mistakes. I believe we can beat anyone in this league, but we need to compete from the opening whistle and play with desperation. Eliminating mental mistakes and working on better timing and execution has been our focus for the past two weeks.”
The Stallions return to Sault Ste Marie on July 22nd to meet the junior Sabercats in a 7:00 p.m under the lights in a OFC Football post – season match – up.
