Gunnlaugson Upsets Jacobs on Day One in Draw 2 at the Grand Slam of Curling

On Tuesday November 14th in Sault Ste Marie, Ontario at the Essar Centre, the Team Jacobs opened the 2017 Grand Slam of Curling in Draw 2 of day one against the Winnipeg’s Team Gunnlaugson.

Team Jacobs took two in the fourth end for the first points of the draw before Team Gunnlaugson grabbed two in the fifth to bring the draw to 2 – 2. Gunnlaugson jumped out to a 4 – 2 lead in the sixth before Jacobs scored one in the seventh. After losing the rock in the seventh, Gunnlaugson added to more to their total to upset the 2014 Olympic Gold Medalist 6 – 3.
