The Cleveland Monsters, proud American Hockey League affiliate of the NHL’s Columbus Blue Jackets, announced Wednesday that the team has signed goaltender Ivan Kulbakov and left wing Bobby MacIntyre to one-year AHL contracts for the 2017-18 season. Both undrafted players participated in the Blue Jackets’ 2017 Development Camp as free-agent invitees.
20 year old MacIntyre was drafted by the Mississauga Steelheads in the 2012 OHL Priority Draft in the second round with the 28th selection overall.
In five OHL seasons from 2012-17, the Oshawa, Ontario native logged 69 goals and 114 assists with 206 penalty minutes and a -18 rating in 306 combined appearances for the Mississauga Steelheads and Sault Ste. Marie.
