Baber Sinks One with Team NOHA in Game Two at the 2017 OHL Cup

At 2017 OHL Cup that features the top 20 Minor Midget AAA teams from Ontario and the United States with forward Camaryn Baber, defenseman Tristan Cicchello and coach Kevin Panco of the Soo Jr Greyhounds AAA midgets on Team NOHA on this year’s roster hit the ice on March 15th at the Scotiabank Pond in Toronto against the Whitby Wildcats.

Teams are represented from the Greater Toronto Hockey League (GTHL), Ontario Minor Hockey Association (OMHA), Minor Hockey Alliance of Ontario (ALLIANCE), along with representatives from Hockey Northwestern Ontario (HNO), and the Northern Ontario Hockey Association (NOHA) will compete along with two representatives from the United States.

In their opening game at the OHL Cup, Team NOHA hit the ice at 9:00 a.m on March 15th against the Waterloo Wolves in AAA midget action. In the 1 – 1 tie to the Wolves in Toronto, Greyhound Baber was named game star for Team NOHA.

Team NOHA was back in action on March 16th in Toronto when they met the Whitby Wildcats in their second game of the 2017 OHL Cup at 10:30 a.m. Baber had one goal and four shots on net in Team NOHA’s 3 – 3 tie while Ciccihello had one shot and two minutes in penalties in the game against Whitby.

Team NOHA will take their 0 – 0 – 2 record into March 17th at 3:00 p.m against the Toronto Titans in their final game of round robin action.
