Algoma U Nordic Skiers Compete at OUA Championships

The Algoma Thunderbirds Nordic Ski team has returned home after competing in Ottawa, Ontario at the OUA Championships.

In the men’s 7.5 kilometre freestyle skate, Roberto Lake finished 50th overall, with a time of 24:58.9.

In the women’s 7.5 interval freestyle, Nadine Paul finished in 43rd overall, with a time of 33:43.8. Marissa Ditoro followed closely behind, finishing in 44th at 35:37.6.

Both Paul and Ditoro also completed in the 10-kilometre mass start race, finishing 45th and 46th respectively. Both finished the race in just over an hour.

Lake rounded out the competition in 42nd place in the men’s 15-kilometre mass start. He finished the race at 1:08:12.3.
